DILI, 19 january 2022 (TATOLI)- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MoFAC), Adajiza Magno informed, Timor-Leste’s annual contribution to the budget of the intergovernmental organization of conflict-affected countries (g7+) is one million dollar.
“The Government signed an agreement with the g7+ that Timor – Leste contributes $ 1 million US every year to g7 +. However, for this year, the amount of the budget will depend on the decision of the Council of Ministers,” Magno told Tatoli, at Palace Government on Wednesday (19/01).
The headquarters of g7+ in Lisbon, Portugal, is an international and intergovernmental organization that aims to promote mutual assistance among some of the most vulnerable countries in the world.
The g7+, founded in 2010 by seven nations, is currently composed of 20 countries in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Caribbean and Middle East, namely – Afghanistan, Burundi, Chad, Comoros, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Guinea – Bissau , Haiti, Yemen, Salomon Islands, Liberia, Papua New Guinea, Central African Republic, Saint Tome and Principe, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Timor – Leste and Togo
