DILI, 13 january, 2021 (TATOLI)– Korea International Corporation Agency (KOICA) extents the financial support with the amount of $.6.5 million to the Minister of Education youth and sport (MEJD) for the construction and rehabilitation of the soccer fields.

The Korean government and Minister Education Youth and Sport (MEJD) will sign a five years of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the five years duration.

KOICA is responsible to construct the five soccer fields in Dili such as Becora, Bidau Mota Klaran, Don Bosco and Kampu Alor.

Minister of Education Youth and Sport (MEJD), Armindo Maia said this announcement after attend a meeting in the council minister on Wednesday.

Speaking to the journalists after the council meeting on Wednesday, Mr. Maia said the Government is fully supported the program planning from the Minister of Education and the Secretary State of Youth and Sport (SEJD) thus the Council of Minister has approved the deliberation draft for the implementation of the agreement.

The project will be directly operated by the Ministry of Health with a conjunction of Korean firm KOICA, along with the support from the SEJD as the owner for the project to begin the project from 2021-2026.
